Back in 2000 when we recorded Rocks on the Soul,  our producers The Pound System ran out real-time CDs as the mix masters. They were sealed and not to be opened until mastering.

There is one for every song on the album, and three with multiple songs. Each one contains one or two different mixes of the song, plus an instrumental mix, plus a vocals-only version, as was customary.

There are also often wrong mixes, false starts etc on the CD as well, as it was run out live.
