We’re hitting the “regional areas” for a coupla quick dates:

• Tim solo at the Rose and Crown on the Gold Coat (Surfers Paradise) on Wednesday (11th) playing at 11.00 ish
• Screamfeeder at the National Hotel in Toowoomba on Friday (13th) playing about midnight

Bloody hell, the 11th of September, and Friday the 13th! both pretty “weird” dates huh?!

Darek had a dream he was in Oasis last week, then he woke up.. and realised he was in the ‘feeder!! – he was happy, naturally.

Now, that Rocket Festival gig we’re doing up here is coming up next Saturday (the 31st). It’s gonna rock. We’ll be playing a few new songs for the first time, and we’ll also have our lovely new sweatshirts for sale.*

But in the meantime I’m playing at Ric’s (Brisbane, valley mall) next Monday night, the 26th. I’ll be bustin’ out the old acoustic and an electric or two, and some tunes, old and new, borrowed and blue, as they say. It’s free to get in, there’ll be amazingly cheap (and strong) liquor everywhere, comfortable sofas, what more could you want to chase away the monday blues?

We’re mixing the new single next week (finally) and getting some b sides together of some songs from a show we recorded at The Healer last year if we can find any without too may mistakes that is.

Saw The Anyones (Melbourne band) the other night and they ROCKED my little world – if you ever get the chance to see them. DO, they’re the best!

So that’s the merch talk out of the way, some real news:We’re playing live next weekend, the 31st of August, at Brisbane’s Riverstage at QUT. It’s free, it’s all ages, and we play at 8pm. there are tons more great bands, blah blah blah, a great way to start the evening before heading out and getting into trouble.

I think it’s time that we unveiled a few new tunes, so that’s what we’ll do. Darek’s been mixing our new demos at home, and they’re piling up. I keep saying, “dude, tell me when you’re mixing and I’ll come over and give you a hand” but does he?? no he doesn’t.. he doesn’t trust me. Good thing he’s the Prezident, I dare not disobey him.

Oh yeah you got that straight, the PHOTOS are there on our site for all to see!! Check them out – the Singapore gallery, from the link on our welcome page, right at the top. Plenty of juicy photos of us eating, drinking, smoking, swearing, sweating, swimming, lounging around, posing, trekking the streets, goofing off, and even some of us playing shows too.

While you’re there, get your hands on one of our ultra rare Singapore tour shirts! I might even have one or two tour posters in the kitchen cupboard still if you’re lucky.

In local news, we’re doing one of the Brisbane City Council (talk about workin for the man..at least “the man” pays I guess) ROCKET gigs. 31st August at the Riverstage. More info soon, but I can tell you it’s FREE, all ages, and there are lots of great bands on. So mark that one down in your diaries.

Tim’s got a show with The Fauves (I thought they split up?) at the Zoo in early August too. The Paul Kelly shows last weekend were either “an intimate treat” or “painfully embarrassing” depending on which street mag you believe.

I dunno, all I know is I had a lot of fun at both shows, got pissed for free, met Paul (top shelf bloke) and I even got a decent recording of the Gold Coast gig, and I didn’t make too many mistakes..! It’s not easy being a “solo artist” let me tell ya.

More great feeder news soon. Hope all the members of the feeder army across the globe (that’s YOU) have their boots on tight, a 3 day growth (unwashed hair will more than suffice) and a soggy cigar butt in their mouths, ready for action. there’s gonna be plenty of it!
