So that’s the merch talk out of the way, some real news:We’re playing live next weekend, the 31st of August, at Brisbane’s Riverstage at QUT. It’s free, it’s all ages, and we play at 8pm. there are tons more great bands, blah blah blah, a great way to start the evening before heading out and getting into trouble.

I think it’s time that we unveiled a few new tunes, so that’s what we’ll do. Darek’s been mixing our new demos at home, and they’re piling up. I keep saying, “dude, tell me when you’re mixing and I’ll come over and give you a hand” but does he?? no he doesn’t.. he doesn’t trust me. Good thing he’s the Prezident, I dare not disobey him.

Plenty of juicy photos of us eating, drinking, smoking, swearing, sweating, swimming, lounging around, posing, trekking the streets, goofing off, and even some of us playing shows too.

In local news, we’re doing one of the Brisbane City Council (talk about workin for the man..at least “the man” pays I guess) ROCKET gigs. 31st August at the Riverstage. More info soon, but I can tell you it’s FREE, all ages, and there are lots of great bands on. So mark that one down in your diaries.

Tim’s got a show with The Fauves (I thought they split up?) at the Zoo in early August too. The Paul Kelly shows last weekend were either “an intimate treat” or “painfully embarrassing” depending on which street mag you believe.

I dunno, all I know is I had a lot of fun at both shows, got pissed for free, met Paul (top shelf bloke) and I even got a decent recording of the Gold Coast gig, and I didn’t make too many mistakes..! It’s not easy being a “solo artist” let me tell ya.

More great feeder news soon. Hope all the members of the feeder army across the globe (that’s YOU) have their boots on tight, a 3 day growth (unwashed hair will more than suffice) and a soggy cigar butt in their mouths, ready for action. there’s gonna be plenty of it!

OK it wasn’t the whole band, but I definitely had to make a RUN for it twice during our last show, as the sickness caught up with me mid-set. Nice timing. Kellie got the same stomach bug too, but to be honest it was a small price to pay for such AN EXCELLENT TOUR!

Yes, we’re back, and Singapore rocked!! We ended up doing 5 shows, 2 large outdoor festival gigs, a big nightclub show, a punk rock kids show in a hall in the suburbs and an acoustic show in a library.. sounds weird huh? I guess it was a little, but it all seemed to make perfect sense while we were doing it.

We’re gonna get a ton of photos from every gig up on the site very soon. Pictures will speak a thousand words, really..! Kellie’s got a mini-tour diary thing up there now, just documenting the various misadventures more than anything else.

Also on the site is a pic of the Singapore Tour T Shirt – we managed to smuggle a few back, and we’re selling them at $25 post paid (duty free). Definitely a rare article – oof, a collector’s edition no less!

I’ve got a couple of solo shows this weekend with the legendary Paul Kelly – Friday at the Arena, Brisbane, and Saturday at The Trocadero, down the Gold Coast.
